Editorial policy and medical review
Our commitments on content quality, professional review and corrections.
Content on this site is written for educational purposes by the Apnée Laval team, based on the clinic’s practice and recognised dental sleep medicine sources. It never replaces an individual assessment or professional medical advice.
- Each page answers a specific question patients ask.
- We avoid outcome promises, unsourced statistics and price comparisons.
- Sleep apnea is diagnosed by a physician; the mandibular advancement device is fitted and followed by the clinic on medical recommendation.
All clinical content is reviewed by a clinic professional before publication. Pages covering screening, treatment or surgery remain unpublished until that review is complete.
Content is reviewed at least once a year, or sooner if practices change.
If you notice inaccurate or outdated information, contact us through the “Contact” form or by phone. We correct the information once validated and show the page update date.
Please do not send personal medical information by email or form; call us for anything related to your file.
This site carries no third-party advertising and receives no compensation for recommending a product. Oral appliance brands are mentioned only because they are used in the clinic.
